Why PokeCom is the Pokecord Replacement
PokeCom keeps what made Pokecord fun — Pokémon spawning automatically as your server chats, and catching them by typing the right name — and adds systems that didn't exist in the original bot:
- Daycare & Jobs — send Pokémon to level up passively or earn currency while you're offline
- Breeding — cross-species breeding, egg incubation, and inherited traits via held Destiny Knots
- Fishing — a standalone mini-game with five rod tiers and named fishing spots
- Weather & Incense — server-wide weather shifts spawn types; Incense triggers spawns on demand
- Marketplace & Auctions — fixed-price listings or timed public auctions
- Trainers — collectible gacha characters that grant account-wide passive bonuses

Is PokeCom Like Pokecord?
Yes — PokeCom was inspired by Pokecord and keeps the same core gameplay loop of catching and collecting Pokémon as you chat. It then layers on modern systems like breeding, fishing, auctions, and trainer bonuses that Pokecord never had.
