Catching Pokémon

Wild Pokémon spawn in your server's redirect channels as members chat. Type the Pokémon's name to catch it before anyone else! Use @PokeCom guild to set up your spawn channels first.

@PokeCom catch <name>Catch a wild Pokémon that has spawned
@PokeCom hintGet a partial hint for the current wild Pokémon
@PokeCom verifyVerify you are human if prompted
@PokeCom dex <pokemon>View a Pokémon's Pokédex entry

Shiny Pokémon have a ✨ icon and are extremely rare. Start a shiny hunt with @PokeCom shinyhunt <pokemon> to track your encounters. Use @PokeCom shinycharm to boost your odds.
Weather: The spawn pool shifts with rotating server weather — sunny skies favor Grass and Fire types, storms favor Water and Electric, fog favors Ghost types, and so on. Weather changes automatically every few hours; no command needed, just watch what's spawning.

Incense System

Incense triggers rapid Pokémon spawns in a specific channel — great for catching rare Pokémon fast. Choose Stardust or Tokens, pick a spawn rate, and optionally add paid enhancements before it starts.

@PokeCom incenseBuy and activate incense — pick Stardust or Tokens and a spawn interval
@PokeCom incensepausePause the active incense in this channel
@PokeCom incenseresumeResume a paused incense in this channel
@PokeCom setincenserole @RoleSet a role that can pause/resume any incense server-wide
Enhancements (optional, paid with Redeems)
✨ Shiny BoostMassive shiny boost for the session
👑 Embed Boost+25% crown/embed spawn chance
⭐ Rare BoostChance to bias spawns toward rarer Pokémon
⚡ Speed BoostCuts the spawn interval by about a third
🍀 Lucky BoostRolls IVs twice and keeps the better result
🌟 Ultra BoostChance for a legendary spawn during the session
Permissions: Only the incense owner or users with the designated incense role can pause or resume incense. Enhancements are one-time purchases for that incense session only — up to a total Redeem cap per activation.

Guess Minigames

Quick solo minigames to fill the downtime while you wait out a cooldown. Each round gives you about 20 seconds to answer, with a 60-second cooldown between rounds. Winning builds your streak and lifetime score, and gives you a chance at credits and an occasional bonus drop (a basic crate or a Lure). Event Pokémon ✨ show up now and then with better rewards.

Game Modes
ModeHow it works
guess snapshotA tight crop of a Pokémon's sprite slowly widens. Pick the right name from four options. Points start at 100 and drain toward 20, so answering early scores more.
guess unscrambleClick the scrambled letters in order to spell the name. Use Undo or Clear to fix mistakes. Hint reveals the next correct letter but costs 1 streak. A wrong full answer ends the round.
guess mismatchYou're shown a sprite and a name. Say whether the name is Correct or Wrong. You wager up to 3 streak points, and you lose them if you answer wrong or run out of time.
guess evolutionAnswer 3 "what does X evolve into?" questions in a row. Miss one and the chain breaks.
guess movesA move is shown. Pick which of four Pokémon can learn it.
Streaks: Every win adds 1 to your streak. A wrong answer or a timeout resets it to 0, except in Mismatch, where you only lose the points you wagered. Your best streak, rounds won and lifetime score all count toward the leaderboard.
Leaderboard: Use @PokeCom guess top, guess top streak or guess top wins, or tap the Leaderboard button on the guess menu.

EV Training

EV (Effort Value) candies permanently boost specific stats on your Pokémon. Each stat can hold up to 252 EVs, with a total cap of 510 EVs per Pokémon.

@PokeCom shopev <stat> <amount>Buy EV candies for a specific stat

Available stats: hp · atk · def · spa · spd · spe  |  Max 252 per stat, 510 total per Pokémon. Check your current EVs with @PokeCom info.

Serials & Limited Spawns

Some event Pokémon (like Valentine's, St. Patrick's, Poncho Pikachu, and crossover event forms) have a small independent chance to spawn as a numbered limited-edition copy instead of a normal spawn. Each species has its own fixed print run, and once that run is fully claimed no more copies of that number will ever exist — they're first-come, first-served.

How to spot one: A limited spawn shows a 🏷️ tag in its spawn title and a footer reading ❤️ Limited • #003/500 — the first number is that copy's serial, the second is the total print run for that species (for example 100, 250, 500, 1000, or 2000 copies depending on the Pokémon). Catch it the same way as any other spawn with @PokeCom catch <name>.
Finding yours: Once caught, filter your collection down to serialized Pokémon with @PokeCom pokemon --limited, or combine it with other filters, e.g. @PokeCom pokemon --limited --n sylveon. Favorite them right away with @PokeCom favorite <#> so a numbered copy can't be accidentally released or traded away.
Good to know: The serial roll is independent of shiny and embed rolls, so a limited-numbered Pokémon can occasionally also be shiny or embedded. Print runs and eligible species rotate with each event — check @PokeCom events while an event is active to see what's currently serialized.

Guild Setup (Server Admins)

Server admins can configure PokéCom to work exactly how they want. Set spawn channels, level-up message channels, and more.

Pro Tips:
• Vote daily with @PokeCom vote for free crates and bonus rewards — also unlocks the berry tree shake.
• Favorite your best Pokémon immediately so you don't accidentally release them. Use @PokeCom favall --sh to bulk-favorite all shinies.
• Select a Trainer whose bonus matches what you're farming — their type-boost bonus stacks with incense.
• Use incense in a dedicated channel so spawns don't flood your main chat.
• Check IV previews with fish info before spending credits to keep a catch, and favorite good ones with fish fav so a stray "release all" doesn't take them.
• Numbered limited spawns can appear during any active event — grab and favorite them fast, since a print run never reopens.
• Use @PokeCom help in Discord for the full interactive help menu with all categories.
