Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using PokeCom, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.
Eligibility
- Users must comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
- Users must be of legal age to use the platform in their jurisdiction.
Account Responsibilities
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- PokeCom is not liable for unauthorized access to your account.
- Accounts may be suspended or terminated for suspicious activity or violations of these Terms.
- You may not share, sell, trade, or transfer your account to another person.
- Engaging in cross-trading, real-money trading (RMT), outside currency transactions, or any exchange involving PokeCom assets and external goods, services, or currencies is prohibited and may result in permanent account termination.
- Each user is permitted one (1) active PokeCom account at any time. See Section 04 for our full Alt Account Policy.
Alt Account Policy
PokeCom permits each user to operate a maximum of two (2) accounts — one main account and one alternative (alt) account. This is a privilege, not a right, and is subject to the rules below.
- Each person may have one (1) main account and one (1) alt account — a total of two accounts maximum.
- Alt accounts are subject to the same Terms of Service as main accounts. Any violation on either account affects both.
- Using an alt account to bypass a ban, suspension, verification requirement, or to gain an unfair advantage is strictly prohibited.
- If a user is found to be operating more than two (2) accounts total — meaning more than one alt — all associated accounts will be permanently banned, including the main account. No exceptions.
- If any account is used to evade a ban or suspension, all associated accounts will be permanently banned immediately.
- PokeCom staff reserve the right to determine account association at their discretion based on behavioral and technical signals.
- Account bans issued under this policy are final and non-appealable.
Prohibited Conduct
Users must not engage in any of the following:
- Engage in illegal, abusive, or harassing behavior.
- Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities in PokeCom.
- Use bots, scripts, autocatchers, or any automated tools to catch Pokémon, farm currency, or otherwise interact with PokeCom on your behalf.
- Use selfbots or user token automation of any kind.
- Share offensive, explicit, or inappropriate content.
- Attempt to circumvent PokeCom's systems, limits, verification requirements, or security measures.
- Create or operate alternative accounts — see Section 04.
- Manipulate, exploit, or abuse the trading, auction, or marketplace systems.
Intellectual Property
PokeCom is a fan-made, non-commercial community inspired by Pokémon. All original content on PokeCom belongs to the creators of this site. Official Pokémon trademarks, logos, and characters are the property of their respective owners. PokeCom does not claim ownership over official Pokémon content.
Virtual Goods and In-Game Currency
- All in-game currency, stardust redeems, and virtual items are part of PokeCom's fan-made system.
- Virtual goods have no real-world monetary value and are intended for use only within PokeCom.
- All virtual goods are non-refundable and may be modified or removed at any time without notice.
- PokeCom is not responsible for lost or unavailable virtual items or progress.
- Virtual items and progress on banned accounts are forfeited permanently with no compensation.
Termination
- PokeCom may suspend or terminate accounts at its discretion for any violation of these Terms.
- Users will not be entitled to compensation for terminated accounts or virtual items.
- Users found operating alternative accounts after a ban or suspension will have all associated accounts permanently terminated with no right to appeal.
- Accounts banned for autocatcher or selfbot use are permanently ineligible for reinstatement.
- PokeCom reserves the right to terminate access for any reason, including inactivity or suspected abuse, without prior notice.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle user information. We encourage you to read it carefully to understand our practices.
PokeCom collects and stores your Discord User ID solely for the purpose of operating the bot and maintaining your game progress. We do not sell, share, or distribute your data to third parties. IP addresses are used only for rate limiting and security purposes and are never stored permanently or logged to disk.
Disclaimer
PokeCom is provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind. We are a fan-made project and not affiliated with Nintendo, Game Freak, or The Pokémon Company. Use of the site is at your own risk.
Limitation of Liability
PokeCom and its creators will not be held responsible for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential losses of any kind connected to your use of the service. This includes, without limitation, lost profits, lost or corrupted data, damage to your device or systems, downtime, and the cost of finding a replacement service — regardless of whether such losses were foreseeable.
Should any claim against PokeCom nonetheless succeed despite the above, our combined liability for that claim — and for all claims arising from the same event or related events — is capped at one hundred United States dollars (USD $100) in total, or the amount you personally paid us in the prior twelve months, whichever is greater.
Everything of value inside PokeCom — Pokémon, currency, items, cosmetics, and progress — exists only within the game and carries no value outside it. Playing PokeCom, including any optional purchases, is done entirely at your own risk. Continuing to use the service means you accept the limits described above.
Updates
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of PokeCom after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
